Quality Inspector

 

We are a precision CNC machining company manufacturing complex parts for the aerospace, rail, medical, and sensor markets.

 

We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our busy quality department. Working directly for the Quality Manager, the role involves carrying out first off and first article inspections, some calibration, the general maintenance of gauges and company measuring equipment, and generally support the Quality Manager in his day to day activities.

 

Competence in metrology, and the skills to use a variety of measurement tools, including CMM is essential, as is the competency to read, and interpret engineering drawings. Experience in the aerospace industry though desirable is not essential, as training will be provided in this sector of the business.

 

This vacancy will attract an inspector currently working in an aerospace environment, or a good quality engineer well versed in the use of metrology equipment, and wishing to pursue a career in the aerospace business sector.

CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

We are a Sub-Contract machining company working in the Aerospace sector. Currently operating on a 2 shift basis, a healthy order book from a regular customer base now necessitates that we increase our staffing levels, as we expect to expand to 3 shifts working in the very near future.

 

We are seeking experienced CNC machine operators, preferably with experience of Fanuc Controls, and twin spindle twin turret machines. Quality is paramount, and operators must be competent in the basic measurement techniques associated with a modern engineering workshop
