It is very experienced in the machining of a wide range of exotic materials including the stainless steels, most non-ferrous materials, the complex alloys of titanium, nimonics, hastelloy, and high performance plastics such as peek, fortron, and torlon.
To compliment its extensive machining facility, Doughty has a stainless steel passivating plant, which utilises the latest technology for surface treatment and that complies with all the latest environmental standards.
